Nice cake
Cake was a Epic disaster and appauling service Ordered from the cake centre for my nephews bday and the cake was from myself as part of his present. Will start from the beginning regarding my experience. Placing a order with this company in itself was a absolute chore your having to constantly chase for prices and confirmation. It's like they not interested in the business and yes I do question myself why I did not go else were then but I suppose I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Having placed the order the cake arrived a day before bday with vital features missing(pic1, will also provide a pic of what the cake should have looked like in pic2). Having confirmed with the company on several occasions can they replicate the cake like for like and was told no problem. features such as the tiger, elephant and number 1 were missing. Making the cake look incomplete.However I called them back after a few lame and baseless excuses they agreed to deliver next morning which I appreciated. But I will point out here that if u want a less stressful experience then the cake company any the one. With a incomplete cake and parts arriving on the actual party day is not accepatable. Moreover once the additional features arrivied the lady delivering told my family members to put the parts on ourself using water to mould them in place. We are not bakers, I have paid you a generous amount of money to provide me with a full and complete product.Anyway being in desperate situation we tried to assemble them but the tiger broke, elephant icing cracked and both would sit on the cake. Total and utter let down and embarrassment! Asked to speak to a Manger and did not receive a call back
The cakes are really good, you can get them made on order how you like, you can get cakes for any occasion. unfortunately it's been moved from the Chiltern and now it's quite limited space wise as there's not enough seating.
This used to be the coffee shop based in the Chiltern centre high wycombe.it's used to have a roaring trade....not now.it's changed totally.you walk in and they have very limited food(only a bare few are warm).you can't get a good meal here go to a pub or McDonald's. The staff are more than the customers and there not much for them to do up front.not going in again.just do the cakes it's better than your food.
