Lovely outdoors retreat to take the family, lots of walks and local places to see. Will definitely be returning
A surprising amount of space with very little disturbance, had a great time and we had all the space in the world to set up a 30+ people site, was super cheap too with wood included
A simple and beautiful campsite, with acres of space... just what we love. Our large group had a wonderful weekend, with a huge field to ourselves. The booking process was fantastic, and Bella gave us a very warm welcome. During the day we enjoyed the beautiful Red Kites flying overhead, along with some really cool small planes and gliders and, at night, a huge star filled sky with very little light pollution. Real camping, with lots of wood for a big fire pit...what more could you ask for : )
I loved it here. I stayed on the woodland site, only for one night unfortunately as I wish I had time to stay a bit longer. Very friendly staff, the facilities were everything I needed. Very quiet and secluded.
This is an absolute gem of a camp site. My friends and I have stayed twice now. We stayed in the large field. The facilities are basic but clean and you get a huge amount of space and a fire pit with tonnes of logs. It is a beautiful area of the world and i would recommend it to anybody who likes peace and quiet from their camping. Bella is a great owner and very attentive and quick to respond if any problems.
