Went to Santa's Grotto. Kids loved it. There was reindeer, presents, crafts, stalls, mulled wine, the museum and plenty of room for them to run round
A small, quaint museum that is both interesting and informative. It is has a wonderful cafe, with delicious cakes and sandwiches on offer. Served by friendly staff.
A lot on display but very poorly displayed with very few notices about most items. They often had only a paper label for the whole cabinet. No welcome for a child and no worksheet offered. Could be much better organised.
One of my favourite places in High Wycombe . Beautiful building and garden. Great all year round events. Interesting and quirky museum with very friendly staff. Good for meeting up with friends, family activities or to relax with a nice cup of coffee. Check the website for events or simply turn up. Free entrance but fees apply to some events (check the website)
A great place to visit with young children. We attended the Forest School which runs every other week on a Friday. My son really enjoyed the sessions we have been to. Afterwards the cafe is very child friendly with a range of toys to keep the little ones entertained. The museum itself is worth a visit and is free. The garden and grounds a well kept.
