Great pizza and beer and the service is always good. The Wycombe branch needs a bit more atmosphere to draw people in, we were the only ones there over the lunch period.
+ Love their core beers : Hop Fest (if I'm driving), Sumo (lovely) and Road Kill (punchy). Great selection of cans/bottles in the bottle shop. Decent pizza. Nice staff. Cool view upstairs. - Could do with a bit more diversity on tap in terms of breweries. Limited for food choices if you don't fancy a pizza.
Love this place, fantastic selection of beers. If your a lover of all type of beer this is the place for you, including sour beers. They do excellent well priced pizza's. Some nights they host comedy and various other events which just adds to the atmosphere. Which is industrial chill, simple, sturdy and comfy. If your a smoker there is an upstairs outside semi covered seating / smoking area.
Excellent choice of beers but expensive compared to other drinking establishments. Staff are knowledgeable and fairly friendly and there is a 'good feel' to the place, but is it worth paying well over the top for a pint of beer?......no. The food option is a range of rather small pizzas, again well overpriced.
Nice little (big) pub in reading which is sadly a town on the decline. Great staff, beer and music. While everyone is on the hipster train and wanting to slate these kind of chain pubs I genuinely see them as a nice little haven. Especially int he world of reading which is nothing but grotty pubs selling Stella and Carling.
