Great service from a family run business
Absolutely fantastic customer service! Bought a red 500 abarth off them earlier this year. Drive shaft sadly went within a month of owning and they paid for me to have a new custom built one without any questions asked! Super happy with the service and Id buy another car in an instant! Really friendly and really helpful Definitely recommend them!
We brought a car from here a few weeks ago as a first car for my son and within a day we had problems. As the car was older we decided to have a new cam belt fitted at an independent garage. Whilst this was being done it was noted that the exhaust sensor was no longer in the exhaust but was attached to the body work with a tie wrap behind the engine cover. Whilst bringing the car back from the cam belt fitting the car once in low revs started to cut out. I spoke to Craig ( son owner at Chiltern)at Chiltern car services and he agreed it was the sensor and he would put it right, and that if we had anymore issues he would return our monies. Once done I received a text saying I could pick the car up from the farm, not even a courtesy call. A few days later the coolant started to leak so again we accepted this could happen and Craig to repair it. All was well for a week or so until when my son and daughter were driving down Cryers Hill the car cut out leaving them with hardly any steering and brakes. Fortunately my son managed to stop the car at the bottom of the hill but they clearly were shaken up. They then went to Chiltern Car Sales where they were met by the Father owner who clearly needs to shows some respect. My daughter confronted him on what had happened and he told her " don't come in here moaning its 9 am in the morning and you'll ruin my day. He was told we wanted our monies returned because clearly this car was nothing but a death trap, he said I'll give you your money back so you'll go away and give me an easy life, and anyway you never wanted the car in the first place ( that's why we paid 350 for new cam belt because we didn't want it, oh and by the way they refuse to pay us for that). I would totally advise anyone buying a car from here to think twice. The only thing in these owners minds is a quick buck whatever the circumstances. Be warned Look elsewhere.
