Catch up with friend on a really cold, wet windy day. Big roaring fire, great food, friendy and informative staff. Great time, great place and really recommend it.

Lovely food and great service despite a busy lunch time. Lovely dining room at the back. Only downside it was a very cold day -2 outside- and the pub was not warm enough
A very busy and popular pub / restaurant with an extensive menu where you'll need to book well in advance. Parking is very limited on busy evenings and took us 5 minutes to find somewhere to park on the street. So give yourselves an extra 5 - 10 mins if you're driving. Food was excellent, service was attentive and friendly but a little haphazard. Can thoroughly recommend the brisket. We will definitely be going back.
I honestly cannot fault this pub. We were in the area for the evening and didn't fancy eating where we were staying. It has some thing for everyone. A friendly atmosphere, a bar with the football on, bonus! And then a lovely restaurant area with a great selection of food. The food was amazing for the price top notch!
