What a treat! After seeing a review and realising that The Mash Inn was only 20 mins away we visited for a quick, impromptu lunch. Great welcome, relaxed service, we met the chefs in the kitchen, and the food was amazing. Cauliflower soup shouldnt be a wow, but it was, and the muntjac deer was smoky and rich. Well be back for the tasting menu when we have more time.

Had a wonderful afternoon dining in total bliss in the Mash Inn for a special occasion. The service was impeccable - everyone was very attentive and charming. The food (with some ingredients picked from the garden) was inventive and utterly delicious. We left after 4 hours and 14 courses, delighted and completely satisfied.
