Cheap and cheerfull-ish
Feel this Hotel is a bit of a Rip off really. The young Lady who Seems to be running this Hotel on her Own is Very nice, helpful, and Very Friendly and can't do enough for us, she's Lovely, Full Marks for her!! ... However ...When we arrived the room Was Very Cold and compact n I could smell Cigarettes even though this is a No Smoking Hotel! ? We put the Radiator on but it took a Very Long time to warm the room up. ... In our room there is a *Welcome* Poster, which is a load of Tosh whether it's because it's this time of year, I don't know ? Breakfast Mon-Fri 0700 to 0830, we went down at 0745, no one around rang bell, no answer!! ... We ended up in Sainsbury's for Breakfast! .... Same with the Dinner No one to cook any dinner and thats only Mon to Thurs, same with the Bar supposed to open 3pm to 11pm, and that's only Mon to Thurs, and that was CLOSED Too!!! .. I'm really Not Impressed!!
Excellent hotel with wonderful staff, especailly the girl on reception who was very professional and thoughtful. I would definately stay there if i was in the area
Never again will we be staying here. What a flipping let down. Rooms far too expensive for what they are, fire door leading into the building dangerous. Couldn't get Wi-Fi in rooms wen we were told that we could. Rooms only cleaned once and that was basics with dirt n dust left. No double glazing so woken up at 6am due to traffic. Breakfast well...... the staff started taking juice drinks away when we hadn't finished eating. The full English breakfast was to be desired as half the time it came out cold mist of the tym n wen mentioned to the staff they moaned n wen brought back out they weren't too much better. NEVER EVER again will we be staying there n surprised they are still open for business
